Samsung Galaxy S23 and Tab S10 Kick Off the One UI 7 Beta Experience

In early March, Samsung revealed plans to launch the stable version of One UI 7 for its older flagship devices beginning in April. Ahead of this rollout, the company announced an expansion of the Android 15 beta program, which had been limited to the Galaxy S24 series, now including a broader selection of older Galaxy phones.

Following the One UI 7 beta release for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 last week, Samsung has now introduced the first Android 15 beta for the Galaxy Tab S10 series and the Galaxy S23 lineup. The ZYC3 firmware update for the Galaxy S23 Ultra is substantial, weighing in at 4.7GB and includes the March 2025 security patch.

Similar updates for the smaller Galaxy S23+ and the standard S23 should be of comparable size. Users interested in participating in the One UI 7 beta program can do so through the Samsung Members app, currently available only in India, South Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

After tapping the One UI 7 banner and accepting terms and conditions, users can navigate to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to access the firmware. It’s important to note that installing the update will not affect user data; however, since One UI 7 is still in beta, some banking apps may experience functionality issues.

Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S10 series has joined the One UI 7 beta program. The beta firmware for the Tab S10 Ultra and its Plus counterpart is presently live in South Korea but is expected to roll out to other eligible regions soon.

According to Samsung’s initial announcement, the mid-range Galaxy A55 remains the last device awaiting an Android 15 beta update, which should be launched in the near future.
