Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Renders Show Major Distinction from the Flagship Model

Samsung is expected to unveil a more affordable version of its foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, during the July Unpacked event. This model is anticipated to be launched alongside the flagship Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. The design of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is similar to that of the Z Flip 6, but it will not include the full cover screen that wraps around the camera module. Instead, it is rumored to feature a smaller 3.4-inch cover display and a dual-camera configuration, along with the Exynos 2400e chipset, making it a budget-friendly option.

While Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S25 series was introduced just a few months ago, attention is now turning towards the foldable devices slated for later this year. In addition to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Z Fold 7, there are also rumors of a trifold smartphone and the more affordable Z Flip FE. Recent leaks have provided insights into the design of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, highlighting a significant distinction from the flagship model. According to a leak from a credible tipster, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE resembles the Z Flip 6 with its folder-style cover screen but lacks the updated display design of the Galaxy Z Flip 7.

The latter is rumored to incorporate a larger cover display that extends around the camera module, similar to features seen in Motorola’s Razr devices, though this will not be a feature of the budget model. The Z Flip 7 FE will utilize the same Armor Aluminum frame as other Samsung foldables and is expected to have dimensions of 165.1 x 71.7 x 7.4mm, making it slightly thicker than the Z Flip 6. While color options remain unconfirmed, the device is projected to have a dual-camera setup possibly comprising a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. Samsung might equip the Z Flip 7 FE with the Exynos 2400e processor, offering a scaled-back version of the Exynos 2400 used in the Galaxy S24 series.

Despite its modest specifications, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE promises to deliver a similar experience to the Z Flip 6 while targeting a more affordable price range.
