Gboard’s Emoji Kitchen ‘Browse’ Refresh is Expanding to Additional Pixel Devices

Gboard’s Emoji Kitchen has become an essential tool for communicating through emojis, enabling users to create custom stickers by mixing and matching various emojis. With the recent Gboard 15.1 update, Google has introduced a new “Browse” feature exclusively for Pixel devices, enhancing the way users explore emoji combinations.

This updated feature simplifies the process of discovering emoji mashups. When accessed, the Emoji Kitchen carousel now appears smaller, and users will notice a new arrow or grid button in place of the previous settings icon.

Tapping this icon leads to a dedicated “Browse” page where users can view all available emoji combinations easily. Upon selecting a mashup, users can see which two emojis were combined to create it, along with a convenient “Send” button that allows for immediate insertion into text.

This streamlined approach makes it easier than ever to customize messages with personalized stickers. Additionally, there’s a floating action button located in the bottom-right corner, which provides access to the regular emoji picker.

Here, users can find their recent emojis as well as navigate through various categories. Tapping on an emoji instantly reveals all possible mashup stickers associated with it, making the process even more user-friendly.

However, it’s important to note that this new “Browse” feature remains exclusive to Pixel devices, including both phones and the Pixel Tablet. After several months of beta testing, it is now available to all users with the stable Gboard 15.1 update, further enhancing the experience for emoji lovers on Pixel devices.
