Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Leaked Renders Showcase Striking Design Similarities with Previous Models

Samsung is gearing up to launch its first Fan Edition foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, at an anticipated Unpacked event next month. Alongside this foldable, another Fan Edition device, the Galaxy S25 FE, has also garnered attention in the tech community. Although its release is not expected until late Q3 or early Q4, discussions surrounding the S25 FE have been circulating since at least April. Initial leaks suggest potential drawbacks for the S25 FE regarding its processing power, as it may utilize last year’s Exynos 2400e chipset.

On a positive note, there are expectations for an upgraded camera system, featuring a 12MP front-facing camera, an improvement from the 10MP camera in the S24 FE. Industry insider @OnLeaks has provided some credible insights into the phone’s design, indicating that while changes will be present, they are not expected to be major. One notable observation is the comparison of bezels between the S25 FE and both the base S25 and last year’s S24 FE. The S25 FE appears to have slightly thicker bezels compared to the base model, yet slimmer than those on its predecessor.

In terms of dimensions, the S25 FE is estimated to be 61.4 x 76.6 x 7.4mm, making it thicker than the base S25 at 7.2mm but thinner than the S24 FE at 8mm. Additionally, the S25 FE will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, mirroring the Galaxy S25+ and boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits of peak brightness. However, the price of this Fan Edition is expected to increase by $50, raising the cost to $700 from last year’s $650. Furthermore, the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will be the first devices to launch with One UI 8, and the S25 FE is likely to include this software, supported by seven years of updates.
