Nothing Phone 3 specifications enhancements confirmed ahead of July 1st release date.

The anticipation for the official launch of Nothing’s third flagship device is building as the unveiling is just days away. Scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, in London, the phone-maker will introduce the Nothing Phone 3, alongside its debut headphones.

Touted as a “true flagship,” the phone will be available for purchase in the United States through Amazon. From the information available, we know that the Nothing Phone 3 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, announced in April 2025, and will feature a new dot matrix display on the rear.

However, details remain scarce. That said, recent leaks provide insights that feel almost like official confirmations.

The device, codenamed ‘Metroid’ with the model number A024, was registered with the FCC on June 23, revealing several specifications previously unknown to the public. The Nothing Phone 3 is set to ship with Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.3 but is anticipated to receive an update to Android 16 at a later date.

Expect a price increase for this new flagship, potentially around $800, which is $200 higher than the Phone 2’s $600 price point. This increase could pose challenges for the Phone 3 to establish a foothold in an already competitive flagship market where options like the base S25 are also priced at $800.

In terms of features, the device promises full support for standard connectivity bands, along with Wi-Fi 6E featuring triple band support and NFC capabilities. A standout feature will be its impressive 5,150mAh battery, the largest ever in a Nothing phone.

For comparison, the previous models had batteries ranging from 4,500mAh to 5,000mAh. Customers can also expect faster charging, with speeds of up to 65W, surpassing the 45W limit of the Nothing Phone 2.

The listing also indicates targeted markets including the European Union, the US, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, and Japan.
