Introducing the Pixel Buds 2a: Here’s Your First Look at Their Design and Features

New Google products are set to launch soon, and ahead of the event, various leaks have provided insights into what we can expect. Among the highlights are detailed revelations about the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro.

Additionally, recent reports have given information on the pricing of the Pixel Watch 4 and its new charging mechanism. Alongside these devices, Google is poised to introduce the Pixel Buds 2a, with a recent leak revealing a first look at these affordable earbuds.

A recent image shared by Android Headlines appears to showcase an official render of the Pixel Buds 2a in a new color called Iris. This design update marks a departure from the original Pixel Buds A, which launched nearly four years ago in 2021.

The design of the Pixel Buds 2a remains consistent with Google’s established style seen in its other earbuds. The earbuds will feature the familiar oval-shaped white case, and the in-ear design will be stemless, like the first-generation Pixel Buds A.

Notably, the inner part of the earbuds matches the case’s color and aligns with the exterior where the “G” logo is positioned. This contrasts with the Pixel Buds Pro, where only the outer shell is colored.

Moreover, the leaked image indicates a new microphone cutout on the earbuds, suggesting potential improvements in active noise cancellation. This is a notable enhancement, as similar cutouts were absent in the original Pixel Buds A.

Beyond Iris, it’s reported that the Pixel Buds 2a will be available in two additional color options: Strawberry and Fog Light. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long for more details, as the Made by Google event is scheduled to occur in just a couple of weeks, where all these products will be officially unveiled.
