Samsung Announces Release of Galaxy Tab S11 Scheduled for Later This Year

Samsung recently announced an array of new devices at its Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, yet it seems that more exciting announcements are forthcoming. During its Q2 2025 earnings call, the company confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S11 series will be released later this year. In the earnings report, Samsung hinted at its future plans, emphasizing its commitment to expanding its ecosystem. The company revealed, “Beyond smartphones, we are accelerating our ecosystem strategy in the second half of the year with a range of new products designed to maximize Galaxy’s competitive edge, including the next-generation form factor.”

The Galaxy Tab S11 series is part of this effort, expected to feature enhanced AI capabilities along with new mid-tier and entry-level models to complete the lineup. If Samsung adheres to its previous launch schedule, the Galaxy Tab S11 series may debut around September 2025, mirroring the release window from 2024. This timing suggests that consumers can anticipate its arrival shortly. Regarding specifications, details about the Galaxy Tab S11 are still sparse; however, it is likely to include both a standard and an Ultra model targeting the high-end Android tablet market.

A recent certification listing has indicated that the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will boast a larger 11,600mAh battery, an increase of 400mAh from its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Nevertheless, it may continue to utilize the same 45W fast charging capabilities. Samsung has established a reliable release pattern for its Galaxy Tab S series, traditionally launching new models in the latter half of the year. Given the insights from the recent earnings call, we can expect the Galaxy Tab S11 series to adhere to this established timeline.
