The Pixel 10 series is set for its official launch on August 20 during the upcoming Made By Google event. Recently, Google shared a teaser video showcasing the flagship device, hinting at a design that closely resembles the Pixel 9 series.
This has been anticipated from previous leaks that suggested minimal design changes for the new model. The teaser video is prominently featured on the main Google Store landing page.
Alongside this, Google is offering an exclusive promotion for those who subscribe to its newsletter. However, existing subscribers are ineligible for this offer, which has raised some concerns regarding inclusivity for long-time customers.
One notable aspect of the teaser is the introduction of a blueish color that was not available with last year’s models, speculated to be the “Moonstone” color. For the Pixel 10 Pro, this shade, along with a “Jade” variant, is expected to replace the previous Hazel and Rose Quartz options.
The classic white and black colors will still be available in the new lineup. While the design appears to be consistent with the Pixel 9 Pro, some subtle changes have been identified in a recent leak.
The SIM slot has shifted from the bottom edge to the side, and the rearrangement seems to have allowed space for an additional speaker or microphone cutout. Additionally, the metal bezel surrounding the rear camera glass appears to have been slightly reduced in size.
However, the lack of a significant redesign might be disappointing for fans. The promotional offer is vague, applying only to new subscribers who are U.S. residents, and the details of the discount have yet to be revealed.
Although past promotions typically offered around a 10% discount, the actual value for this event remains unclear.
