Comprehensive Leak Details Nearly Everything About the Upcoming Motorola Razr+ (2025) Foldable Phone

Official images and specifications of the Motorola Razr+ (2025) have surfaced ahead of its launch next week. This flip-style foldable device will feature a larger primary screen, improved dust resistance, and several minor enhancements compared to its predecessor. However, software support may not meet expectations, as it is rumored that the Razr+ (2025) will provide only three years of major updates.

Motorola is set to refresh its flip-style foldables on April 24, and details about the premium Razr+ (2025)—known as the Razr 60 Ultra in international markets—have emerged. Months prior to the official launch, renders had already circulated, stirring anticipation among fans. Recent leaks have even hinted at a unique woodgrain version, reminiscent of the classic Moto X.

The reliable leaker, Evleaks (Evan Blass), has unveiled official-looking images of the upcoming foldable on X/Twitter, complete with lifestyle photos and a detailed specifications sheet. The new Razr+ (2025) will include dust resistance, a feature that was noticeably absent in last year’s model. According to the leaks, the device may only come in three colorways, contradicting earlier suggestions of four options.

One of the images confirms that the Scarab Green variant will have an Alcantara fabric finish, while the Rio Red edition will feature vegan leather on its back panel. In terms of hardware, the Razr+ (2025) will sport a 7-inch primary pOLED screen with an upgraded resolution of 2992 x 1224, slightly larger than last year’s 6.9-inch display. It will also maintain the same 4-inch pOLED cover display size.

Photography features include dual 50MP cameras on the back and a 50MP front-facing camera. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, with lower configurations expected as well. However, it remains uncertain whether all variants will be available in the US.

On the software front, the Razr+ (2025) may disappoint tech enthusiasts with just three years of major software updates, starting with Android 15. This is similar to the update pattern followed by its predecessor. On a positive note, the new model will have a robust 4,700mAh battery and support for 68W fast charging.

While early reports suggest that the Razr+ (2025) could be pricier than its predecessor, confirmation will come once the device and its more affordable counterpart are unveiled next week.
