Samsung has inadvertently disclosed the pricing for the Galaxy S25 Edge in Canada through the terms and conditions of a French-Canadian promotional offer. The phone will be priced starting at $1,678 CAD for the 256GB version and $1,858 CAD for the 512GB model, which translates to approximately $1,200 and $1,400 USD respectively. The official launch for the Galaxy S25 Edge is scheduled for May 13, with availability in North America beginning on May 30. Samsung initially teased the device during the Galaxy Unpacked event in January and showcased it at Mobile World Congress.
However, aside from its design, details about the device remained scarce until this pricing leak. The pricing details were first highlighted by Bluesky user Roland Quandt, who was browsing the terms and conditions of the offer on the French version of the Samsung Canada website. Samsung had created a promotional bundle offering a 20% discount on a Galaxy Tab S10 FE with the purchase of any Galaxy S25 device. This bundle revealed the Galaxy S25 Edge’s retail prices for both storage variants.
According to the leak, the 256GB model retails for $1,678 CAD ($1,200 USD), while the 512GB variant is listed at $1,858 CAD ($1,400 USD). These figures align with earlier reports suggesting that the S25 Edge would be positioned as a premium device. In contrast, Korean pricing for similar models appeared just hours before the Canadian leak, showing slightly lower prices of $1,049 and $1,140 USD. As the launch event approaches, Samsung is expected to emphasize the phone’s premium design and advanced AI features to justify its higher price point.
