A recent leak reveals that 20 additional Galaxy devices are set to receive the One UI 7 update in the upcoming weeks. This rollout will primarily include 11 A-series phones among other midrange, entry-level, and ruggedized models.
Samsung plans to launch this software update in June, just as it prepares to kick off the beta program for One UI 8. Initially introduced on May 8, 2024, Samsung’s One UI 7 has experienced a tumultuous journey, marked by an array of feature rumors and delays that left many Galaxy owners eager for new layouts and icons.
Now, low-cost Galaxy devices are about to catch up as they are finally scheduled for the Android 15-based update. The leak, disclosed by reliable tipster Tarun Vats, indicates a timeline for this rollout that reflects his established credibility.
Tarun has previously reported on similar updates for various Galaxy devices, enhancing the reliability of this information. While most planned devices will receive the update in June, the Galaxy Tab A9 is expected to wait until July.
The list of phones set for the One UI 7 update includes popular models such as the Galaxy A53, A54, and A55, as well as the A33, A34, A35, and several others from the A and M series. Samsung’s attention also extends to rugged devices like the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro and XCover 7.
In addition to smartphones, select tablets are also getting the update, including the Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab S6 Lite (2024), among others. With these advancements, there is anticipation building for One UI 8, which is expected to be revealed this summer.
