Google Pixel 10 Spotted for the First Time During Advertisement Shoot

A recent ad shoot for the Google Pixel 10 series in Vancouver has come to light through a photographer’s shared images. The pictures, capturing the Pixel 10 Pro, reveal a design that remains largely consistent with the Pixel 9 series. Alongside these visuals, a storyboard hints at the commercial’s focus, likely highlighting enhancements in AI and camera capabilities, including a feature referred to as “Add Me.”

The official launch of the Google Pixel 10 is anticipated in the latter half of the year, similar to the preceding Pixel 9 series. Various leaks have unveiled potential upgrades and downgrades, especially in the camera specifications, while earlier unofficial renders suggested minimal design changes. This recent photography offers a tangible look at the Pixel 10, taken by Mark Teasdale during an ad shoot on a Vancouver beach where a crew of over 20 was present.

Teasdale’s close-up images suggest that this device is likely the Pixel 10 Pro or Pro XL in Obsidian color, showing little deviation from the design of the Pixel 9 Pro. The storyboard frames captured by Teasdale also reveal the commercial’s primary focus on the camera, coupled with innovative AI functionalities. Notably, the phrase “Ask more of your phone” implies that Google aims to emphasize features powered by AI, possibly related to the forthcoming Gemini Live technology.

Additionally, one storyboard section indicates the ad will cover the unique “Add Me” feature from the Pixel 9 series, which uses AI to combine individual photographs into one cohesive group photo, ensuring all members, including the photographer, are included. Overall, this leak provides a clearer image of the Pixel 10 and its marketing direction. The phone is expected to debut in August, equipped with Android 16 and the new Tensor G5 chipset, marking a significant collaboration for Google as they partner with TSMC for this production, stepping away from previous collaborations with Samsung.
