The AAWireless TWO+ has officially launched on Indiegogo, supporting both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as reported by 9to5Google. This wireless adapter is currently available in limited quantities for as low as $34, making it nearly half the price of the original adapter sold on Amazon.
This latest model is AAWireless’s most advanced version to date, enhancing the features of the TWO adapter released last year by including full CarPlay support, an addition lacking in its predecessors. Users will appreciate the convenient built-in button, allowing easy switching between Android and iPhone connections.
The company also plans to roll out firmware updates based on user feedback, ensuring ongoing improvements in performance. The device supports dual wireless protocols, including Wi-Fi 5 and 6, as well as Dolby sound.
Importantly, the launch on Indiegogo deviates from typical crowdfunding campaigns; the AAWireless TWO+ is already in production and shipping. The company is utilizing this platform primarily to validate compatibility across various vehicles ahead of a wider launch on Amazon.
This initial wave consists of only 3,000 units, which enables AAWireless to gather real-world data about the adapter’s performance with various infotainment systems. The standout aspect of this release is the attractive $34 price point, significantly lower than the previous version’s cost on Amazon.
While there is no confirmed date for a full public rollout, it is anticipated to occur soon. Those seeking a straightforward wireless solution compatible with both Android and iPhone should take advantage of this opportunity, moving away from outdated systems to fully enjoy the benefits of modern connectivity on the road.
