Google recently released Android 16 for compatible Pixel phones on June 10, while other smartphone manufacturers like Samsung, Xiaomi, and OnePlus are in the testing phase for their flagship models. Although these companies have not confirmed the full details on eligible devices, Motorola has taken the initiative to offer a preliminary list of phones set to receive the update. According to YtechB, the new Android 16 update will apply to several Motorola devices, notably its flagship Razr models. The devices slated for the update are as follows:

Interestingly, some mid-range devices like the Moto Razr (2024) and other recent models have been omitted from this list. Despite Motorola’s promise of three years of OS updates for the ThinkPhone 25, it is not included either. This initial announcement from Motorola is a positive step, but given their history, users should not anticipate a swift rollout of Android 16.
