Microsoft has announced an exciting lineup of games for the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, available for PC, console, and cloud users. Between now and August 1, gamers can look forward to nine new titles joining the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate catalog, marking a strong finish to July. Notably, several games will launch on Game Pass simultaneously with their release on the Xbox Series X and Series S platforms.
However, it’s important to note that three titles will be leaving the service this month. A standout addition to the lineup is Grounded 2, developed by Obsidian Entertainment. This survival game features players as miniature kids navigating a public park, where they encounter and tame bugs to enhance their survival.
Grounded 2 is currently in Game Preview, a form of early access, and it’s included from day one for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers—typical of first-party Xbox titles. Also coming to Xbox Game Pass this month are several intriguing games including Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Wheel World, along with cooperative survival game Abiotic Factor. Many of these games will be available on the same day as their console releases, creating an exciting experience for subscribers.

As new games arrive, some will also bid farewell. Notable departures include Flock, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. While three more titles will be removed at the end of the month, the influx of new games makes July a strong month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
