Leaked Information Suggests New Names for Samsung’s Upcoming Flip Foldable Devices

Samsung has officially announced the launch date for its next-generation foldable devices: July 9 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York. During this highly anticipated showcase, Samsung is expected to unveil several models, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Recent leaks, particularly from case manufacturer Spigen, seem to confirm these names ahead of the event.

The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place at 10 a.m. ET. To build excitement, Samsung is currently offering reservations for the Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 7, which come with a $50 credit towards official accessories if customers purchase one of the foldables.

Additionally, reserving a device allows participants to earn triple reward points and enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win $5,000. Spigen accidentally published early listings for cases compatible with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Though the images were not visible and the listings were swiftly removed, the pages were crawled by Google, maintaining the availability of the names.

This leak aligns with prior reports and renders that have circulated online, indicating that Samsung is set to release two flip-style foldables at the event. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is anticipated to feature high-end components, potentially using an Exynos chipset rather than the Snapdragon processors of previous models, coupled with a cutting-edge cover screen. The more budget-friendly Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is likely to face competition from devices like the Moto Razr 2025.

Featuring a cover screen similar to its predecessor, this model will reportedly be powered by the Exynos 2400e. While case leaks have provided insight into Samsung’s upcoming products, the firm has yet to make any official announcements, leaving room for surprises next week.
