Unlocking Your Newsletter Potential with Proton Mail: The Solution You Need

Proton Mail has been a leader in protecting digital communications for over a decade, but it recognizes that end-to-end encryption alone isn’t sufficient to compete with the top email applications available today. In light of this, Proton is revamping its mobile app and introducing a plethora of new features set to launch this summer. In the meantime, Proton Mail is rolling out a new feature designed to help users manage their newsletters more efficiently.

Research has shown that the average user is subscribed to around 95 different mailing lists, many of which send multiple emails weekly. While it could be tempting to unsubscribe from these lists to declutter your inbox, there’s a reason you subscribed in the first place: your genuine interest in the content. To tackle this challenge, the Proton Mail team has created a dedicated Newsletter view that allows users to stay informed without feeling overwhelmed.

This feature will soon be available on Android, iOS, and the web, appearing in the sidebar under the Views header. Users will be able to easily catch up on all their newsletters in one session. With a single click or tap, you can delete unwanted emails, mark them as read, or unsubscribe from lists.

If you prefer to keep certain newsletters out of the main view, you can effortlessly move them to designated folders. This allows you to set custom rules for future emails from those senders. Moreover, since this new tool is first-party, all actions occur in the privacy of your end-to-end encrypted inbox.

You can also use Proton’s email aliases to prevent newsletters from accessing your real email address, and thanks to Proton’s enhanced tracking protection, you can read emails without worrying about tracking pixels alerting senders that you’ve opened their messages.
