Spigen has unintentionally unveiled significant details about the upcoming Pixel 9a by listing its case for the phone on its website. This listing has provided a first look at the design and color options for the Pixel 9a, which is anticipated to launch next week.
The phone is set to feature a more streamlined design, eliminating the camera visor seen in previous A-series models and supporting wireless charging. Furthermore, it will house a substantial 5,100mAh battery.
With Google set to announce the Pixel 9a soon, leaks have been rampant. Details such as full specifications, pricing, and even a hands-on video have surfaced prior to the official launch.
A YouTuber has also shared photo and video samples captured with the device. Despite these pre-launch revelations, Spigen’s case listing may have been one of the last pieces of information to leak out.
Spigen has introduced its Ultra Hybrid Back Cover Case for the Pixel 9a on its Indian online store, although similar options are already available for the rest of the Pixel 9 series. This early listing revealed the device’s design from multiple angles along with its available colors.
The confirmation of a flush camera module aligns with ongoing rumors, showcasing a clean aesthetic that continues the flat-edge design found throughout the Pixel 9 lineup. In addition to its striking design, the listing included images showing the Pixel 9a engaging in wireless charging.
It also specified the color palette, which comprises Peony (pink), Iris (purple/lavender), Obsidian (black), and Porcelain (white). As the launch draws near, not much more is left for Google to disclose about the Pixel 9a.
The phone is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Google Tensor G4 chip, alongside 8GB of RAM. Similar to other Pixel 9 models, it will offer seven years of software updates, highlighting its longevity and support.
The Pixel 9a is rumored to be available starting March 26, 2025.
