Moto’s Upcoming Razr Launch: Anticipation for Global Release and Additional Features

Motorola has been generating buzz on social media for an upcoming event that will showcase its 2025 Razr collection. Scheduled for April 24th, this announcement hints at the release of not only the Razr+ and the standard Razr but potentially a third, previously unannounced model.

Motorola recently shared a teaser video on its US social media channels, revealing three Razr models in different colors, all shrouded in shadows. This is an earlier timeline compared to the last couple of Razr launches, which were unveiled in June.

The appearance of three models raises questions about whether Motorola is adding another Razr variant this year, as the previous year’s teaser only featured two devices. The end of the teaser shows two phones folding together to form the letters “AI,” a clue that may provide further insight into upcoming features.

In contrast, an international version of the teaser reveals additional information, suggesting the launch of the Moto Edge 60 Pro alongside the Razr models. This new smartphone boasts impressive features, including IP69 certification and a substantial 6,000mAh battery.

However, its absence from the US teaser raises concerns about Motorola’s North American strategy, implying that the Edge-branded flagship might not be released in the region again this year. The 2025 Moto Razr lineup is shaping up to be a premium clamshell device, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and an enhanced battery.

However, these advancements may come with a hefty price tag, rumored to start at $1,100 for the Razr+. With just days to go until the event, it’s clear that we can expect a wealth of new details on April 24th.
