Samsung’s One UI 7 stable update has been progressively rolling out to a variety of Galaxy devices since earlier in the month. This includes the S24, S24 FE, S23 series, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, and Tab S10 series.
Notably, the update has recently extended to older models, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and the Galaxy S22 series, arriving ahead of Samsung’s initial timeline for some devices. Currently, the One UI 7 update for the S22 series and older foldables appears to be primarily limited to South Korea.
However, broader regional availability is expected soon. The S21 series and several other models are anticipated to receive the update in the coming weeks or months.
The long-delayed update began its stable rollout earlier this month and has already reached several Galaxy devices. For context, the latest S25 series comes preinstalled with One UI 7.
The S24 series started receiving the update on April 10, although the rollout was briefly paused due to a bug. Following the resumption, One UI 7 was made available to the S24 FE and the S23 series, with subsequent releases for the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, and the Tab S10 series.
As of now, the pivotal Android 15-based update has begun reaching older foldables like the Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, as well as the Galaxy S23 FE, limited to South Korea. The notable milestone is that the Galaxy S22 series will soon join the updates, further building momentum for the rollout.
The only S-series flagships still awaiting One UI 7 are from 2021—the Galaxy S21 series. Given the current trajectory, S21 users may begin to see the update within the week.
At present, the update is mainly available in South Korea, with wider release expected shortly. It is reported to be approximately 4.4GB in size, featuring build version FYD9, and includes the April 2025 security patch addressing multiple high-level vulnerabilities.
